    - Problem printing inserted images I've been having a strange printing problem lately, when I insert images in my files some of them print out as solid black rectangles. The strange thing is that up to about a week ago I was able to print out the same images just fine, and if I open the images in Microsoft picture and fax viewer they print fine as well (so I know the file isn't corrupt).     - Create a way to merge to multiple entries per page in Publisher i. When merging in Publisher, I can print 4 postcards per page with merged addresses ONLY from the preview. When I merge it creates 4 copies of the same postcard, meaning 4 of the same address, to a page. It doesn't ask me if I want four from the same entry on each page. My only option appears to be to print ONE postcard per page, but that is wasteful when I should be able to put four on a page. If I tell Publisher to do one to a page then my printer to do four to a page, it prints mini versions complete with crop marks and adds a gutter I don't want around all of them. Now I am having to print the 800 pages on my own printer then take them in hard copy to my print shop for them to copy the ones with the four different addresses on a page onto my postcards, instead of them being able to just do it themselves from a merged document.     - Images not displaying on page Hi, Apologies if this is a frequently asked question... PC has Publisher 2003 + SP1 (11.6255.6408) on WinXPPro + SP2, 4Gb RAM Problem I'm having is when I try to open a Publisher document which was not created on the above PC i.e. sent to me from someone else, or created by me on my previous PC. Specifically, any images do not display on the page, or in Print Preview. However, they do appear in the Graphics Manager if I click the Show Thumbnail checkbox, and they do print correctly. If I click View, Pictures on the menubar, the dialog is set to Detailed Display. If I change this, click OK, then change it back, still nothing. If I hover over the pictures, the cursor changes to the four-arrow picture curcor and shows the "Picture" tooltip. If I then click on the pictures, the Picture toolbar appears. If I right-click on the pictures, I can export them as JPG, GIF etc. They just don't display on the page or in Print Preview.     - Find and Replace: Using White Space Combination Character Hello All, I am trying to remove the occurence of two spaces between words from my Mail Merged Publisher 2003. I am doing the following in the Find and Replace Dialog: Find What: ^W^W Replace With: ^W After that I click Replace and I get the message "Publisher Could Not Find Any Matching Text". However, there are about 30 instances of two spaces after a word because the blank Middle Name issue in my Mail Merge produced these multiple instances of two spaces. The jpg file would show up on screen fine but when printed out, the right hand side was truncated off. I then sent it as pdf file and person could print it off fine. I have never had this problem with my computer so was wondering if anyone knew what would cause this? Is it compression being applied by the browser on my end or her end? Thanks for info. My students are pasting pictures from the web. publisher files over 5Mb have been reduced to 300Kb by using the "compress pictures" button. As pictures from the web are compressed already. Probably WordArt if you are using Publisher. There are lots of alphabets on the
ClipArt site. You can ungroup them and manipulate the letters into a monogram. What
initials are you using?
