    - Uploading problems Hi all, I hope someone can help me with a few difficulties i'm having uploading my website. 1. When I upload, only the first page is uploading - so pages 2-7 don't appear 2. Images do not download with the webpages so when you type in the url, you simply see a blank space where a photo should be with a small icon at the top left courner which sometimes offers the option of 'show picture'. 3. The webpage is positioned to the left of the window when it appears and doesn't centre itself to the page so there is a huge chunk of white space to the right of the window.     - email message with Publisher 2007 Hello, I've been trying to send a newsletter I created in Publisher 2007 as a message but the only option I have is as an attachment. I saved the newsletter as a single web page which gave me the additional option to send as a message but sometimes the message is sent complete and others in code. I am using Explorer 7 and Vista ultimate mail and have sent it to myself so I know the programs can read these this email. Sometimes Vista will as me for permission and the newsletter is sent correctly. When it doesn't ask, the message is sent in code. Is there something I can sent to stop this from happening?     - Fonts not appearing in PDF I submit PDF proofs to my clients for their approval, so when one or two fonts don't appear on the PDF copy, it's a problem. In one case, the font cannot be embedded. It's an open type font that I bought from Adobe (Bickham Script Pro Regular). Another is also an open type font that I recently bought, but there are other open type fonts that I can use successfully. I use ScanSoft PDF converter with Publisher 2003. Any suggestions?     - Publisher 2007 corner borders I just purchased MS Publisher 2007 and I'm disappointed they don't include the classic triangle corner border. They have a triangle corner border, but it is outlined by dashed lines and the triangle themselves don't overlay the corner of the picture, nor do they look as good as the ones you can use on the Kodak website.     - broken links on web page Hi there, I'm trying to update an old web page that has a number of out of date links which no longer function. I sourced the original material stored on my computer and updated all of the links, saved it in web page form, and uploaded the data to the web site. Problem is, when I try testing the updated links I keep getting error message saying that the files can't be sourced! It shouldn't be looking for files, it should be searching for the relevant web address. As an alternative, I've simply gone back to the source material, used the 'view as web page' facility to test the links on my own machine, only to see the same thing happen. It wants to find a file in the Administrator/setting section of my system. Oddly, all the other links that didn't require change work perfectly, yet if I try and change them to something else the same problem comes up again. Can anyone tell me what the problem is? I've used various versions of Publisher for years to create web pages, and have never encountered this problem before. I don't know if it makes any difference, but I should point out that the original folder containing the publisher document and relavent jpegs has been shifted from it's orginal site in 'my documents' to a secondary HD. It shouldn't make any difference, but I'm pointing it out just in case there's something to it that might be causing the problem. I use Publisher 2000 by the way.     - converting to CMYK to send to a printing co? Don't have need of this yet, but came across it in making book covers. Publisher (2000) can convert it to CMYK which I've read is what printers want it to be. Or, they will convert it themselves (some say) If so, I would still have to send the image separately along with the overall design? It says embedded images have to be linked to the document and sent separately. The image file. I can understand this though I've never used a linked image in a document before. I put images on from my files (or clip art) (using a picture box and import, which I assume is embedding) but, I don't always leave them the same size as the original file. If I change the file to a link, and convert it to CMYK color (to send to a printer) and send image file with it, what if the image isn't the same size as it is on the documnet? Or, will it auto adjust to this when linked (by the printer)? And, if I use clip art, I still would have to send an original of the file? This is all totally new, and I don't have (at this point) any documents, image files, and printing companies to test it with. To see if I have it set up right for sending to a printer (or maybe a publish on demand company to use for a cover on a book) And, in that case, where they usually offer downloads (of the book) as an ebook, will the cover image(s) set up for a printer download okay? Can I use my home printer to test it (linked and converted to CMYK)? Or, will it just print it the way it shows on the monitor, like always? I guess I can set up a test with a linked image, converted to CYMK, save it as pdf and send it to myself to see how it comes out (like downloading an ebook)? I haven't tried this but it may work. Create the columns in Word and sort
them. Then do a sort followed by copy/paste into Publisher columns (a text
box for each column or create a table).
