    - using publisher to print business cards Hello, I am using publisher 2003 to print my business cards on a HP business inkjet printer., I have printed other cards w. no problem, but I have a new logo that I am using and it will not print my logo just the name addresss etc info.     - Publisher 2003 graphics problem I have a problem printing some graphics in Publisher 2003. Basically the images are being clipped. If I use a specific one as an example which is 3 images grouped and locked together, it prints Ok from Publisher 2000 and Publisher 2002. If I copy the graphic to Word 2003 it prints OK. But in Publisher 2003 one of the elements moves and other parts get clipped I have tried two printers myself, both Epson inkjets, and I get identical results. Someone else has tried on 3 different printers, and gets the same problem but with varying degrees of clipping or different elemnets move. I have scanned a printed example as a jpg file but I don't seem to be able to upload it.     - Import PDF Image into Publisher --PLEASE HELP Hello.. I publish a newsletter that accepts advertising. Several of my clients have started sending their ads to me as PDF files. I've tried using the PDF Selection tool in Acrobat Reader (7.0), taking a snapshot of the image and pasting it into Publisher. However, for some reason it is inserted as a much smaller graphic than when it was in the original PDF file and when I stretch it, the text is distorted. I'm tearing out my hair as I write this because I'm on a tight deadline and have tried all the "help" resource I could think of before writing to you (MS Publisher knowledge base, Google, Adobe Reader Help, etc.) There must be some simple solution that I'm just drawing a blank on.     - ownership Hello, I just got done with a file migration from novell to windows server 2003. Now im working on setting up disk quotas for my user folders. I know that the users need to have ownership of their folders in order for disk quota to work. However only the administrator has ownership of each individual user not the users themselves.     - Black and white images Now, I know this is probably something that I have done... But I don't rememebr changing anything.... I am creating a flyer using one of my existing custom templates. The borders as in colour (two Pantone colours) as ais the logo... These reproduce on my screen and in preview in colour.... no problem. I am importing colour JPGs and they show as colour in explorer and in <Insert/From File> but when they are in the document they are in black and white (grey scale). I thought this could be an editing mode thing but cannot see anywhere to change this and I KNOW that I have always had these in colour before. I have opened previous documents and the JPGs open in colour. If I format picture and select recolour it shows the image in colour in the recolour pane but does not change anything in the document.     - How do I compensate for page creep in a small A5 booklet Hi I'm using Publisher 2003 to produce a small (100 page) booklet, that will be printed 2 up double sided on A4 paper e.g. 25 sheets of paper, 4 pages per sheet. When printed the book is showing exhibitig what appears to be called, in the printing industry, page creep. That is that when folded the right hand edges of the inner pages protrude further than the right hand edges of the outer pages. The excess paper can obviously be trimmed off with a guillotine, but then the text on the pages will be closer to the right hand edge of the page, as above. I've searched Publishers Help and can't find any reference to the issue. Can anyone here suggest something that will help me understand and hopefully resolve the issue.     - Why is printed page different than print preview? I have a newsletter that I mail merge with an Excel file. Last month it printed fine but this month several things change when I print. I previewed one of the merged newsletters and it still looks fine. But when I actually print SOME of my indentations have increased causing me to lose wording.     - Note Cards In Publisher 2003 I am a novice user of Publisher. I notice that there are some "design" templates for note cards (4.25 x 5.5) but they are all set up for quarter-fold stock and I don't want 1/4 fold cards. Blank documents are also set up for 1/4 fold cards. There are no blank templates for note cards, two per page, which is actually a very common design and card stock. I want to create and print note cards using Avery stock such as 3379. This stock allows two cards, front/back, per sheet. I have tried to use both the blank booklet and blank tent-fold templates and neither work. Booklet, using page size 11 x 4.25 (for landscape) *appears* to work. It sets up four "pages:" front, 2 inside, back. However, when I attempt to print, what I get is three pages, not two. Intuitively, I'm looking for the document to print front and back on one side of the sheet and the two inside pages on the other side of the sheet. That is not happening. Trying to use tent-fold or top-fold cards is absolutely confounding to me. My printer is a Canon PIXMA ip8500 and will automatically duplex print - which is also what I want to do. I can't figure out how to create and print front/back note cards 4.25 x 5.5 or 5.5 x 4.25, depending on orientation). Can someone help me figure out how to facilitate what I'm trying to do? Is there somewhere I can find simple, step-by-step instructions? I'm sure this is possible, but I'm not familiar enough with Publisher to figure out how to make it so.     - Excel to Publisher My document has already been created in Excel. It's about 60 pages in five tabs. Income Statement presented monthly over six years 2005 thru 2010; Balance Sheet same time period; Cash Flow Statement same time period; Construction Schedule, same time period. The Excel docs are nicely formatted as you would see in a financial presentation, but my partner is adamant on having it in presented in Publisher. I have been trying for three days to convert/import/export the Excel sheets into Publisher to no avail. It looses pages, it looses formatting. I have never in my professional life presented a financial report in Publisher, and I have never seen anyone in the financial industry use Publisher to present their financial reports, but my senior partner wants it done in Publisher. what i try, one side of the paper is flipped, so when you fold it, then open
