I have written a newsletter in Publisher. I want to send it to my members. If
I simply use an attachment to an email they get the whole publisher
programme. How do I send just the publication for them to read?

Use an application such as PrimoPDF from www.primopdf.com to convert to
PDF and send the PDF file.

They don't get the entire program, unless you are doing something really,
really wrong.

I emailed the newsletter to myself to try it out. I got the Publisher frame
with my newsletter in it as I wrote it. Would others only get the newsletter
itelf then?

Thanks for your help Ed. I downloaded the conversion programme you suggested.
Unfortunately it doesn't recognise certain things and the converted pdf
newsletter is a series of dots and dashes. The photographs were OK though.

Give google a search for free pdf programs.

If you are interested in a fine modestly priced pdf creating program which
creates the smallest pdf files of all programs (great for e-mailing attached
files to those on dial-up), give PDF-XChange a try. There is a tryout
version to assist you in making up your mind.

The Tools package is !!!!

Since most people don't have Publisher, sending them a .pub file is useless.

If you used Primo, you should be able to see everything the way it should be
unless you are using some funky font that can't be embedded. Although it's
outside of the Publisher realm, describe what you are doing to create a .pdf
file.
