    - Publisher 2003 "2 page document changes to 3 page" I have couple of files created in Publisher 2003 which worked fine on my computer until the hard drive crashed. After the recovery the text in the file reflows on the 3rd page and automatically. The same files work fine on another computer. The printer for both th computers is same i.e. "HP Laserjet 2840". I also tried Microsoft document image writer as the default printer. I later formatted my computer again and still the same thing happens. The file works fine and prints fine on another computer but in my computer the text flows on the 3rd page inspite of the font size being same. When I print it from my computer the fonts in the printout look bigger. I thought it could be something with the computer hardware and then bought a new computer and tried the files on that computer. For my surprise the files did the samething as they did on my previous computer. Both the new and the old computers are of a different make and model. My Publisher files work fine on one of my computers and also any other computer except for my other 2 computers. This same thing happens with all the new files that I create.     - Merging photo fields in Publisher Thanks in advance. I am a teacher, trying to create a monthly "Student of the Month" publication that includes student photos. The info is all in my Access Database, but I need to put out a monthly publication with pictures of a student from each class (about 26 photos) who earned the "Student of the Month" designation. I am using Publisher to do a catalog merge with my Access database. One of the fields I really need is a photo field. I have tried to follow the directions about putting links in for the photos, but no matter what I do, the actual pictures do not show up in my finished merged document. My text fields show up, and the layout is perfect, but the pictures do not come into the document. Any ideas? I am using Publisher 2003 and Access 2002. Another issue is with Publisher, Microsoft always has some great ideas, but they need to build examples on how to do certain things with their forms - for instance they have a store front template in Publisher, but it won't calculate or there isn't away to perform qty. * price = total price.     - Selecting all text for formatting I was just wondering if anyone knows of an easy way to select all the text in all text boxes in Publisher, so as the font can be formatted. I've just drawn a diagram (network schematic) with some 70 or 80 text boxes, and discovered that I need more space. I have tried hitting Ctrl-A but this won't let me change any font settings, I've also tried using "Ctrl-Click" to select only the text boxes and not the adjoining lines, also to no avail. The closest I've managed si the format paster which also pastes the borders/colours etc. of the text box itself.     - Batch conversion of Publisher files to Word I went through the half dozen or so posts of conversion from Publisher to Word but they didn't address my following question. I have 240 MS Publisher files that were created by someone else. I need to extract the content and import it into MS Word. The original files were used for the publication of a manual... yes you guess it, a 240 page manual and why they decided to make 240 seperate files for each page is way beyond me but perhaps you MS Publisher experts would have a rationale for this (I've used Quark in the past and just made one big file... but hey! to each their own). Now as I mentionned, I need to get the content which is text and images to a Word document. I'm dreading the idea of copy/paste of 240 files, and as mentionned, the save to doc feature doesn't export images (otherwise I'd have created a macro to do this for me). Any tips? I have created a newsletter in Publisher in landscape format with several text boxes and pictures. For some reason the logo in the left top corner pixelates when I send it as an email. Burning it on the CD is when it becomes
read only.

Copy the file from the CD to your friend's
hard drive. Then...open it in Publisher.

The OP will most likely have to go to File properties on the hard disk
and untick Read Only.

I guess that's possible, but when I copy
a .pub file from a CD to my hard drive...
it's no longer read only.
