    - how do i make a small booklet? I need to make some small books. The ideal size would be this: Imagine a sheet of A4 (portrait) split horizontally (in other words A5 size). If I then folded that in two vertically. That is the size I need. (approx 15cm x 10cm). There is a useful template on Publisher which is called 'Book Fold', but I need something half that size.     - Images not displaying on page Hi, Apologies if this is a frequently asked question... PC has Publisher 2003 + SP1 (11.6255.6408) on WinXPPro + SP2, 4Gb RAM Problem I'm having is when I try to open a Publisher document which was not created on the above PC i.e. sent to me from someone else, or created by me on my previous PC. Specifically, any images do not display on the page, or in Print Preview. However, they do appear in the Graphics Manager if I click the Show Thumbnail checkbox, and they do print correctly. If I click View, Pictures on the menubar, the dialog is set to Detailed Display. If I change this, click OK, then change it back, still nothing. If I hover over the pictures, the cursor changes to the four-arrow picture curcor and shows the "Picture" tooltip. If I then click on the pictures, the Picture toolbar appears. If I right-click on the pictures, I can export them as JPG, GIF etc. They just don't display on the page or in Print Preview. Lo que debes recordar es que miles de personas más, en todo el mundo, se conectan al Internet y leerán estos artículos todos los días como TU Y YO LO HACEMOS!!!. Así que creo nadie tendría problemas en invertir US$6.00 y ver si realmente esto funciona. Algunas personas llegan a pensar... "y si nadie decide contestarme? Que!! Cuál es la posibilidad de que esto pase cuando hay miles y miles de personas honestas (que como nosotros) buscan una manera de tener independencia financiera y pagar cuentas!!..., y estan dispuestas a tratar, pues "no hay peor lucha que la que no se hace". Se estima que existen de 20,000 a 50,000 nuevos usuarios TODOS LOS DIAS!! (en todo el mundo). **************** Recuerda hacer esto en forma CORRECTA, LIMPIA Y HONESTAMENTE y funcionará con toda seguridad. Solamente tienes que ser honesto.     - How do I crop clip art images using "points" Using MS Publisher 2002 via XP Pro I need to remove the maximum amount of white background surrounding images in clip-art. CROPPING or Ctrl T etc dosn't allow me to do this, but I remember in earlier version of Publisher being able to add "POINTS" then dragging them up to the edge of the image.     - Find and Replace: Using White Space Combination Character Hello All, I am trying to remove the occurence of two spaces between words from my Mail Merged Publisher 2003. I am doing the following in the Find and Replace Dialog: Find What: ^W^W Replace With: ^W After that I click Replace and I get the message "Publisher Could Not Find Any Matching Text". However, there are about 30 instances of two spaces after a word because the blank Middle Name issue in my Mail Merge produced these multiple instances of two spaces.     - Publisher & jpg compression. I had a one page pub file converted to jpg which I sent as attachment to person to print out. Person does not have Publisher. The jpg file would show up on screen fine but when printed out, the right hand side was truncated off. I then sent it as pdf file and person could print it off fine. I have never had this problem with my computer so was wondering if anyone knew what would cause this? Is it compression being applied by the browser on my end or her end? Thanks for info. My students are pasting pictures from the web. publisher files over 5Mb have been reduced to 300Kb by using the "compress pictures" button. As pictures from the web are compressed already. Why are the pictures not left in their orginal format/compression? Or alternatively can we force compress pictures to "on" by default.     - Mail Merge Question: Skipping Field that is blank Hello All, When merging data into a Publisher 2003 mail merge field is there a way to skip or not print a field if it is blank (or some other criteria), as one can do in Word. Consider the case where there is a field for Middle Initial, but many people don't have them or don't use them.     - My publisher colours are corrupted I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling. The colours still reappear as pinks and blues. Colour scheme is the same. This is Publisher 2000. I have several users running Publisher 2000. I upgraded a few of them to
2002. My mistake, I will never upgrade just some machines again!!!

Is there any exhaustive, definitive reference available explaining all the
quirks, incompatibility issues and work arounds for using PUBLISHER 2000 &
2002 together?
