I print 20 pages from publisher, and I have resized all
of the pictures to take up less space, and instead of
spooling it as 1 page and printing it 20 times, it spools
all 20 pages and has to spool like 140 megs. This is
driving our company insane and slowing down our
production!!! Please help!

Let me guess - you're using Pub 2000, right?

Publisher 2002, and we have to wait eons for it to
spool. I tried different printer drivers, but to no
effect.

You can work around it by printing a PDF (using the full Adobe Acrobat or
one of the free alternatives) and printing multiple copies there, or by
using an intermediary printer driver such as FinePrint (www.fineprint.com)
to handle the multiple copying.

yeah I guess I could print it to pdf and then print it.
I was just curious if there was a fix for it, and why
publisher does that. I am also their IT manager and this
has been giving me nightmares for weeks.

Also try setting the copy count in the printer driver setup, and look for a
"collate" checkbox. Make sure it is NOT selected or it will generate
multiple copies in the print stream, even if only one page is being printed.
