    - Paste Special drops cells from Word and Excell Our church is using Publisher 2003 to do our bulletin and newsletter. When we try and use Paste Special to paste the calendar from Word 2003, it drops the last row of cells bottom of calendar (they do not show up in Publisher). If we go back to Word 2003, new document, and paste, everything is there. The same thing happens when we try to Paste Special from Excel 2003. It drops the last column of the Excel sheet. Any suggestions on how to fix this? The calendar and Excel sheet are put together by another individual ( not the secretary) and emailed to the church office. The secretary also says that sometimes it will paste the whole clipboard. I do not have specifics on when this happens. I know the problem this time is with the August calendar which has 6 rows.     - Tool Bar default I like to have my align center, middle, left and right up in my tool bar as i use them frequently. I get rid of stuff I don't use to make the room. How do I set that as default? I think I am doing it but when I open a new document after a shutdown, it goes away.     - header problems when converting to Adobe I have produced a catalog in Publisher 2003. I created a header/footer and placed a section break between the cover page and the rest of the document.     - Insert or LINK to images Can anyone advise me - I am creating a range of documents which will only ever be printed from or viewed on the PC which creates them. The only exception to this is that I will occasionally e creating .pdf files from them which will be emailed to other people.     - disengage mail merge Since the completed merge is too large to email, I have mail merge documents emailed to me along with the data sources in excel. These spreadsheets are being kept in xls form and used throughout the organization for consistancy so I'd prefer not to change applications. Since I am changing the source of the data ( from their computer to mine) I have to re-designate that source in the mail merge. My problem is that those choices are grayed out to me.     - page numbers I am writing a series of booklets for use in eastern Europe. I am in the process of setting up a template but running into some complications (first time I have used any version of Publisher; version 2007 is version I'm using). It is in metric (105 x 148.5cm), consists of 32 pages and after the first page, facing pages (last page is also single to keep publication with 4 page set up). I want the first and last pages of the template to be blank; the second and third pages in the template just to contain at bottom "TEI Â© 2008" but starting at page 4 (with facing page 5) and from then on, to contain "TEI Â© 2008" but also page numbers. I do not mind whether they are at the top or bottom of the page (but advice welcome on this) but on even pages (starting page 4), page numbers would need to be on left; and on odd pages, starting facing page 5,page numbers would need to be on right. Developments so far - I have first and last pages blank and pages 2 & 3 with just "TEI Â© 2008". I also have "TEI Â© 2008" on all the other pages (4 to 32) but for whatever reasons I cannot insert page numbers on left starting page 4 (which would be page 1) and on right, starting page 5 (which would be page 2); when I insert page numbers, page 4 is numbered page 4 when it needs to be numbered page 1 and so on. What version Publisher are you using? Look at the Commercial Printing in the
Tools menu.

I realize that I'm a bit late coming into this, but you really do NOT
want to be printing separations from Publisher. Who ever is giving you
the test should seriously rethink the idea.
