    - Mail Merge I am new to this forum so please excuse the silly question. I am using Publisher 2002. I use a database that I started from Excel 2002. I print membershiip cards from Publisher. I mail merge my recipient list from Excel. I am now over the 10,000 mark for new cards. When I am in Publisher and I go to edit the recipient list, only the first 10,000 numbers show. When I UN-CLICK the ones I don't want to print, then complete the merge, ALL of the 10,000 names appear to print. When I click on the ID # column it will then do a assending sort list and the ones that are 10,000 and above will show. Even if I only have two names clicked, it wants to revert back to printing over 10,000 cards. Did something get corrupted in the program? If I use a new database with just the new members, even though their numbers are 10,000 and above, it will print fine. I can't see that I've done anything wrong to my Excel database.     - Apostrophes and quotes change to Simsun when imported from Word into Publisher I am using Word XP and Publisher XP on a Vista system, and when I try to import a Word document into a Publisher text box, all the quote, double-quote and apostrophe characters change from Times New Roman to Simsun font.     - re: Change Page Order When you are in print preview, there is an icon that will allow you to see all four of your pages at once. It should say 8-1 2-7 6-3 4-5; if you have your duplex unit enabled and your page setup is booklet. If you did not originally setup your newsletter as a booklet you can rearrange your pages with the page sorter tabs, but you shouldn't have to, just re-setting up the publication to booklet would be enough. I don't have any other ideas. You could try saving to a PDF and then printing. (The tent card will have an announcement on the front, and church information on the back. He wants people to be able to unfold it and read full page information inside.)     - change page order I have been trying to print a newseletter. It is 8 8.5X11 pages - or 4 11X17 pages. In the 2003 publisher I was able to change the page order on the layout tab of the page setup so my printer would print it correctly. They always have pixelated edges. Even at full page size which I figured would cure it didn't work. On the other hand, anything I do to a 3D graph in Word comes out nicely. Different sizes, shapes, colors, rotations, resize UP, resize down...even to the point of being ridiculous have clean crisp edges. The only reason I'm chasing this issue is the company I'm consulting for has 100's of reports and documents in Publisher 2007. This didn't seem to be an issue in previous versions...and all thought that going to 2007 would only INCREASE the quality. On the contrary, there has been a marked DECREASE in at least the quality of this particualr element. Any help or comments are greatly appreciated.     - Pages keep changing position I recently had Microsoft Office 2007 installed on my computer at work, and am having awful problems with Publisher 2007. I produce a multi-page newsletter which I originally created in Publisher 2000 and have imported into 2007. However, when I am in the middle of working on it, the pages seem to move around by themselves, so that page 1 may end up on page 7 and page 3 suddenly appear on the front cover! This makes me reluctant to save even the tiniest change in case other pages have moved spontaneously while I was working. Nothing in particular seems to trigger this movement.     - Saving multiple pages as web pages in Publisher 2003 I have been send a Publisher 2003 document from another person. I wish to convert it to web pages so that I may load it so that other people can view it via a browser. I have tried to save it as single file web page or web page but only page 1 is saved as html. If I try to save each page individually, giving them an unique name, but only page 1 is saved, each time with the unique name. The on-line help does not appear to help much here.     - Publishing on the Web Hello there. My name is Michael and I'm having a challenge with Publishing my web page on the Web. Here is what is happening. I am currently using Yahoo Geocities and uploaded my web pages. I go to view the Index, my first page, and it comes up well (outside of the graphics that I have not uploaded yet). So I click on one of the links on the side bar and down on the lower left corner (where the 'done' is) I see the correct page listed, but the webpage blanks out. I look up at the address and it still shows the address of the 'index' page. If I go to the address and manually type the next page that should have been linked to it will send me there....     - input a multi-section WORD doc file Office Depot says they prefer to print workbooks from Publisher. I am tying to input a multi-section WORD doc file to Publisher. When I input a 100 page multi-section (chapter) doc file, with many figures into a booklet in Publisher, the WORD sections disappear thereby changing the footers, header and page numbers.Also many figures are moved. I selected the 4 cards per sheet option. the 2 left side cards are perfect,
the 2 right side cards cut the far right edge off in print preview and in

This is a limitation of your printer margins.
Determine what your printer margins are and create your postcards, both left and
right within that margin if you want them to all look the same.
