    - Inserting and Resizing An Oversized Excel Worksheet I'm attempting to add information from an Excel worksheet on to a page of a newsletter I'm working on in Publisher 2003, but I'm running into a problem. The newsletter page's dimensions are 8 1/2" x 11", but at full size, the Excel worksheet is larger than these dimensions. I can adjust the print settings on the worksheet in Excel to allow me to print the worksheet on a single 8 1/2" x 11" sheet of paper, but I can't adjust the size of the worksheet as an object in Publisher so that all of the contens of the worksheet can be seen. When I insert the Excel worksheet into Publisher as an object and adjust the size of the worksheet using the "Size" tab in the "Format Object" window, only a portion of the worksheet can be seen. I can adjust the size of the object by clicking and dragging the sides and corners of the object, but it doesn't make any more or any less of the worksheet visible. When I edit the Excel worksheet object, I can scroll and see the entire worksheet, but I can't adjust the size of the worksheet. Making the worksheet's cells and their content smaller so that the total worksheet size less than 8 1/2 X 11" won't work either, because the text in the cells is already at 8 pt and can't be made any smaller. Is it possible to insert the Excel worksheet and adjust the size so that the contents of the entire worksheet are visible on the page in Publisher? If so, how can it be done? Thanks in advance.     - Pattern Fill for lines with Vista Hello, JoAnn, I hope you are there... I love Publisher (2007, well all of them), though not so sure about Vista, and this problem also occurs with Word. Anyway, if I want to print a shape that is filled, then, even with a plain colour fill, I have to go into Pattern Effects and ensure both the foreground and background colours are set to the colour that I want inside my printed shape. Note that the screen display is OK. Annoying... but it works! I also have to do the same procedure if I want to print a Line... funny really, because I only want a Line... I don't even want it 'filled'... Annoying... but it works! My problem arises now in that I want to print a dotted/dashed line... BUT my procedure cannot work in this case, so I have to use thin grey lines instead! I did paste this problem and procedure under Vista ages and ages ago, but nothing happened.     - files changed to read only I had a folder located in "my documents" titled "Publisher files" which had several sub-folders inside. Now all of a sudden the folder is missing, but I am able to find the files by searching via Windows by selecting .pub as the parameter. In the search results file it shows the string where they once were located but the subfolders are all gone and every file is marked "read only" when opening it from the search results area. The only change to my system was installing the Master Collection of Adobe Photoshop 3 and all the stuff that came with it.     - printer driver malfunction I'm trying to print a job in Publisher 2003 and I get a popup saying that Publisher failed to load the printer driver. The job was created in Publisher '03 so it has not migrated from a previous version and this job has printed before.     - changing font displays on the run In Publisher 2007, I may type a word, then want to see it in many fonts to make a choice. It's a laborious process. 1) highlight the work, 2) go to FORMAT, FONT and see an example of the font, BUT NOT THE ACTUAL WORD, view the change on the page, 3) rehighlight the word, 4) return to the FORMAT, FONT option, 5) choose another, 6) close that out, etc. So, is there anyway, that I can roll over fonts and watch them change on the page, or have the actual word displayed in each font style? There has to be an easier way to sample a word in 20 different fonts in order to make a decision. I seem to remember that there was such an option in Word or earlier Publisher versions...but that might have been an halucination. Any tips?     - Table cells. Hello to all my good friends out there. I have created a table with a size of 3.6cm high by 20cm wide. The table itself is 4 cells by 4 cells. If I decide to play about with the size of the individual cells making them higher, wider or shorter etc but then decide that I want them equally distributed in width and/or height again, is there easy way to do this. I cannot seem to do this without having to recreate a new table. The overall table size obviously must stay the same.     - Header/footer/page number problem Hello! Could someone please help me to add headers and page numbers to every page, but the first three pages of a booklet. Page 1 and the header should actually start on Page 4. I'm creating a business directory in booklet format, selected under Layout View, in Publisher 2003. I added page numbers, starting with Page 1 on the third page of the booklet. I inserted a section then entered the page numbers. Everything looks fine -- until I decided to add headers. When I decided to add headers I can only get them to show on every other page, despite trying the two page option on the Master Page procedure. When I try to select single page/two page, as per the instructions, I get a message stating that my document is going to be changed to a single page document. Also, when I try to follow these instructions: "In the Edit Master Pages task pane, click the arrow next to the single master page where you want to create facing headers and footers, and then click Edit," I'm at a loss. There is no arrow and no edit, unless they mean "edit" on the toolbar at the top of the page. After following all of Publisher's instructions, I find that the page numbering stays the same, but I get headers on every page, even on those I want to be blank. Any help will be appreciated. This just seemed to begin after I installed System Pack 1 for Vista Home Premium. The error message is: "Publisher cannot run this wizard. This feature is not available. If you are like me, having a cup of coffee, soft drink or even a glass of wine and a Boscotti there is a good chance some or all will end up on the keyboard. in 2003 I would always get 2 copies of an A5 page if printed on A4 paper.

Are you selecting A5 in page setup and in print setup selecting multiple pages
per sheet?
