Just moving over from Word (Office 2002/XP Pro) to Publisher 2002 -

0) What's the difference between the blue and pink guides?

1) It looks like we can set up guides and then snap images to them. Is this
the best way to align images (using "master doc") the same way through a
document?

2) Is it possible to do a macro to align an image to a guide? (We
positioned images in Word using a macro tied to a toolbar button.)

3) Best way to resize images the same throughout a doc? Do a macro?

4) How do I record a macro? Don't see where to do that.

Have you heard of the HELP file - press F1

Difference between the blue and pink lines, one line is blue, the other line is
pink.
Truth be known it was a stupid idea along with many other real dumb ideas from an
earlier version.

JBVC <JBVC@discussions.microsoft.com> was very recently heard to utter:

0.1" (0.254cm)

Probably. You can use both Ruler Guides and Layout Guides.

No, but you can use a macro to position an image in a certain location (e.g.
25cm from the left of the page, or 3" from the top of the page). Images
will not move when you move the guides.

Yup.

You don't. Code in all current versions of Publisher must be written.
