    - Can't find Publisher Templates I cannot find my templates in Publisher 2003. I have not changed the default location in Word, I have reinstalled Office 2003 through advanced install and chosen everything but I still have no templates, not even a template link in the task pane. I saved a test publication as a template and it went into the template folder, closed out of Publisher and when I came back in, still nothing to do with templates in the task pane but the template I saved is in the templates folder, just no way to use it without opening and using the original, which sort of defeats the purpose of templates. I'm more than frustrated as I have been searching for over two hours on MS knowledge data base, called 'Customer Support' (NOT) only to be told that my product key doesn't even cover me for one simple help issue, etc. I'm hoping someone in the newsgroup can help me solve this. I've also lowered my security level in options thinking that's why they were hiding but nothing came from that. Thanks in advance to anyone who can shed some light on this.     - resize a page In the older Publishers you could resize a page that had text and pictures in and it would adjust the print size etc to fit.     - Cannot create custom borders Users cannot create custom borders in Publisher 2000. Admins can. So I looked after admin created a custom border and the location it created it was c:\program files\microsoft office\office\pubbrd. The permissions on this directory do not allow users to write to it. So being the genious that I am I gave them the write attribute and now no one can create custom boarders because it says "permissions on the directory have been changed. Try running setup again." I changed the permissions back but this doesn't fix it. I'm trying a reinstall of Office disk 2 because that's what I've read on the boards. How do I give permissions to users so they can create custom boarders in Publisher. From what I've been reading this is a problem but there are no answers. Come on MS help out here.     - Calendar Design I have Publisher 2000 and 2003. I want to do a Calendar which will be printed on 11x17 paper in booklet form. That is, one 8 1/2 by 11 page (with picture) is on top when opened and the other, with the calendar is on the bottom. I can get a "book fold" for an 11 x 17 but only 'sideways' - like a book. When I try to change the dimensions and/or the landscape/portrait, it won't just 'turn' the page but tries to make a long, narrow 'book.'     - Publisher Crop Problems When I installed publisher 2002 I had the ability to crop in many shapes, hearts, shamrocks, etc. I also had the ability to correct red eyes. This feature was on the right side as another window. I also could open a picture in publisher and directly edit it. Now I open a picture from explorer, all I get is text. She has a postcard and uses WordArt and has set the text in the WordArt to be transparent so the image beneath the wordart can be seen. One reason is Publisher files aren't practical to be used as e-mail
attachments, files are huge, beyond many e-mail account capacities.

Another reason is Publisher files are for the prime purpose to create
material to be printed, published.
