    - Lose Keyboard after scrolling with mouse Hi Have a issue with a client using Publisher 97 and when they are typing information in a file and go to scroll from one place in the file to another to another and then try to type at a new location it is like the keyboard is gone they get no characters on the screen that they typed But if they Do a File, Open and then cancel the keyboard comes back and they are able to enter information again.     - Joining jpgs to make 1 jpg I am trying to create a jpg that can be included in a Webpage as a banner. My particular banner will have 3 individual jpgs or bmps. How to I save just the finished jpg rather than the entire layout in pub? That is, when I create the banner 10"x1.5" in publisher, it appears I can only save the entire document as a pub doc which of course I can't open in Picture It as a jpg.     - Mail merge I have created a 19.2 mb 8 page newsletter. I want Kinkos to print it so that each newsletter copy is printed with an addressee on the front page. That means I have to do a mail merge. When I select "print to Kinkos file prep tool" it takes about 1 minute per copy and I have 300 addressees to mail to. That means 5 hours and probably will run out of memory or so says Kinkos pro. Kinkos says that I can also just take the mail list which is an MDB file and send it to them as a PDF file which I don't think can be done. Anyone out there who has been through this?     - printing business cards I am printing business cards using Publisher 2000. I have no problem setting them up 10 to a page with Avery perforated card stock. The problem is that the design placement on the cards does not print correctly. The top cards on the sheet are perfect but as it gets to the bottom of the page, the design is too high. This is especailly bad whent the design includes a border that ends up not being centered on the card. I have adjusted everything there is to adjust on my printer and am wondering if it is a Publisher software issue or a printer issue.     - Publisher 98 "Cannot Open File" Have been using my data file just fine for the last 2 years. Did envelopes with it yesterday. Added 30 names today, merged and printed fine. Went back in to delete 2 records. Instead of opening my file -- which still shows up in windows explorer as 186kb -- error message says: CANNOT OPEN FILE.     - errors Hello, I have a coworker who is having these errors in Publisher: Due to low memory or use of a floppy other than the one you started with, Publisher has had to rename your publication C:\PUB242.TMP. To resume, close all programs, including Publisher, then restart Publisher and open the file. You may then rename the application. and this error: MSPUB.EXE - Application Error The instruction at "0x600193f0" referenced memory at "0x0000000". The memory could not be "read". Click on OK to terminate the program Click on CANCEL to debug the program Sometimes, clicking on OK will close Publisher and not save the document. Also, she got: mspaint.exe - Application Error The instruction at "0x77fcb3ad" referenced memory at "0x00000." The memory could not be "written". Click on OK to terminate the program. She was getting this above error when opening a Publisher file with a specific logo that was created in MS paint. Her other coworker does not have any of these problems. This coworker does save the Publisher files to the hard drive and not the network, and she still gets errors. She has Novell Client 4.83 SP2 and Windows 2K Service Pack 4. Please Help. Thank you.     - Kerning problem I have PUB2003 installed on a desktop and on a notebook. My pub file contains a title with 3pt kerning. The title with kerning is shown correctly on my desktop where I have developed the publication. When I open the same pub file using Publisher on the notebook the kerning is not recognized anymore and the title is shown in "normal". However, if I take a look at the style it still says 3pt. kerning. I deleted the textbox containing the title and inserted a new textbox and a new title and applied the style formating - to no avail.     - Publisher 2000's colour schemes are all black! My client is using Microsoft Publisher 2000. All of the colours are black. From the Format->Color Scheme... menu item, all of the listed achemes are black. On the "Custom" tab, all of the colours are black. If I select a colour and try to customize it, all of the basic colours are black. If I want to see all colours, I can see a very colourful grid but the preview is always black. I can manually set the RGB values, but they always appear as black. All available Office Updates have been applied. Repairing does not solve the problem, nor does the repair/reinstall feature.     - publisher 95 document won't open with 98 Hi, I have some documents that took a great deal of time to make which are suddenly necessary to access again. I have since upgraded to XP, and have Publisher 98 on my machine. I get "...is not a valid win32 application" if I click on the document in windows explorer. When I open 98 and try to open the documents, I get "Publisher cannot open earlier "publisher cannot open files from a different version". I tried to change the "open with" setting to publisher 98, and it still doesn't work. I also can't seem to find my old publisher 95 disc.     - no thumbails when inserting pictures I have a document with a lot of pictures and every time I go to insert a new picture, it displays the contents in the folder I'm pulling from as thumbnails. This is very, very annoying. I have a lot of images and thumbnails not only take extra time to load, but they take up probably 5 or 8 times more room than just a listing.     - Clip Art colors print incorrectly I am trying to create a certificate using Publisher 2002. I am printing on a hp psc 2110 all-in-one. The pre- designed document prints fine, however when I add a clipart design to it, the colors in the clipart print in incorrect colors. Yellow and red come out blue, blue comes out red. This only applies to the clipart graphics while the rest of the document comes out correctly. This only happens in Publisher, if I copy the same art to a word document it prints correctly. Hello all,

I have a publisher document that's made up of text boxes, and is
postcard sized.
When I try to resize this to fit a whole A4 page all the text boxes
bunch up, even if they are grouped together.
I think it has something to do with the fact that the 'keep position
relative' box is disabled when I try to format the text boxes.
Any idea what's going wrong?

Are you sure it's not the text bunching up? When resizing the text boxes,
the size of the text does not change. What happens if you increase the size
of the text within the text boxes?
