    - pages 1 & 2 on the same side for a booklet I would like to create a booklet that is separated like a regualr booklet except I would like p. 1 & 2 to be on the same piece of paper. The reason, I would like to staple the booklet on the top and flip up but, still conserve paper by having the booklet have 4 pages to one (2 next to each other, flip page, the next 2 next to each other).     - supporting file location When I "publish to web" and all of my .htm/.jif/.jpg/etc. files are created, they are stored on my computer. I then FTP them to the server and pull up the website. The main page is there, however, when I click on a link, it tries to access the location back on my original computer instead of the global location of the files on the server. Is there an option somewhere in Publisher that produces .htm files with a global location? Or do I have to continue to edit the .htm files and change the location manual?     - Photo slideshows inside Publisher for direct emails I frequently use Publisher to create marketing pieces to email to my clients.     - mirror printing Hi all. My wife is using Publisher 2003, on an XP-Home SP2 system. This evening she went to print a flyer she made and it printed in reverse. While I'm aware that one can set it to print in a mirrored format, I am unable to identify anything to stop this from happening. In checking the print drivers, all of the mirror settings are turned to off. In checking the page set up in Publisher, there is no option for her to perform a mirroring operation. I've checked the print preview and it shows as being correclty oriented. I.e., normal. But when I go to print the document, it's mirrored. How can I print a document in normal mode when everything already appears normal, and yet prints in mirror mode? Your helps are deeply appreciated. Best. SteveB.     - can I choose the application that will show a graphics file? On my webpage I have a link to a graphics file (tif file). On my system I have several applications that I use to view graphics files, including tif files. Apparently the app that is the default for opening this file doesn't like the format of the file, and I get an error message and the file doesn't open. I can change the defaults for which app willopen the file but I know this might be the case with others who try to open it. Is there a way to specify the app that will open the file? Thanks.     - publisher 2002 crashes when saving Hi There My publisher 2002 (OfficeXP) crashes every time I try to save a document in .pub format. This also applies to auto saves. Other formats are no problem. I run Win XP and everything was fine until I installed SP2. Drivers are current and functional. I need to run SP2 for other software to function. I have tried repairing, uninstalling & reinstalling. Still crashes. Is there a patch or fix you are aware of? I use Publisher extensively & this is a BIG problem for me. Please help.     - T-Shirt design What print publication would work the best to design a t-shirt? I've never used this program before. An aquaintence designed a t-shirt, front & back, for a middle school sports group. There was soccer ball on the back, with the individual names of each player(first and last name) going around the ball, and around and around with everyone's name. If I insert a picture with the Link To File function in a document it inserts the picture in the document as normal, so what is the difference between this as the normal insert file function. If I save this document and then delete the original picture file, the picture is still in the Publisher document, so I cannot see a difference.     - Trying to do some Business Cards using MS Publisher Hello, I have created a couple of flyers using Photoshop Elements 5. What I am trying to do now is to actually design a business card to look the same as the flyers. I am totally new to MS Publisher. I know almost zip about using the application and making business cards to boot. What I have tried to do so far is use Publisher's Blank Publications and then blank Business card template. I then already saved one of my flyers as a .png file format and resized it to a business card width and height of 3.5 x 2. With my blank business card template in Publisher open, I went to Backgrounds and then chose more... to select from a file. I chose my flyer and inserted it as a background into the business card template. It looks fine on screen, but when I do a print preview and/or a print to the printer, it seems larger than a normal 3.5 x 2 card, and it seems to bleed on the edges. The edges look to have the top and bottom portions of the flyer starting to repeat themselves around the edges of the card. As I mentioned, the card on screen looks fine, but when I print them or do a print preview, the card is actually larger than a 3.5 x 2 normal business card. Why is this and what is happening?     - Cutoffs after Conversion I've designed a standard sized business card (3.5x2) to be sent to the printer. Per the instructions on their site for full bleed, I added .125 to the size of the card which ended up being 3.625x2.125. I also added a bit more space in the margin of the text boxes as a safety zone. I am have Office 2007 though the Publisher program looks the same as Office 2003, which is odd because all of the other programs in 2007 uses ribbons. When I print/save the file as a .tiff, .pdf or jpeg, the program cuts off the edges of the card. The .tiff version shows white in place of the parts that have been truncated. Publisher has many built-in templates. You will have to change the content.
