    - Typing fractions When wanting to insert symbols I can find 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 & 1/8, 3/8, 5/8, 7/8, but can't find 1/3 & 2/3? How can I type those as fractions.     - Urgent: Navigation Bar points to the pc instead of the index files I am reposting this because I can't find my original post. 1. I have made 3 other website and solved this problem in the past but now I can't remember how (Laugh its ok). I made this site with pub 2003 www.eboatconsulting.com and 2 others. 2. The problem: When I publish my other site to the FTP server and look at the site with IE6, the navigation bars on the top and bottom point back to my c:\website\... folder and not the index folder on the ftp server (like it should). 3. The Question: What is the fix for this inside of publisher 2003? There most have been a fix with in pub 2003 I just can't seem to remember what is it.     - 124 copies of document load when running Publisher Here's a fun one. On a PC in one of our schools, 124 copies of Publisher load when the program is run. This is despite a thorough (we thought) cleanup of all temporary files on the PC, uninstall and reinstall of Publisher. Any advide would be gratefully received.     - Merging multiple addresses into single page containing 4 postcards I'm using Publisher to create a post card mail merge document with pages set up as 4 - 5.5x4.25 cards in a 1/4 page letter format. When I enter the merge command Address Block in the Publisher "2 page spread" view and do a mail merge from my large excel address list, I get one full page of 4 post cards all going to the same address.     - different layouts on pages in publisher I am using publisher to make web pages in a 7th grade science classroom. All students have a laptop and are creating several pages. They will be joining their work for one website. Is there an easy way to merge publications? For example, insert a page from another document? Is there an easy way to allow the different layouts to be integrated without loosing the styles each student has chosen. I have had a couple people send me a Publisher document as an email attachment, but when I try to open it, I get a message: "Publisher cannot open the file".     - Numeric Field Overflow (pubmgr9 error) I have been using Publisher for 6 years now. This must be something easy to fix. I am mail merging a Publisher 2000 document with an Excel 2000 list. It will merge a few of the names and addresses, then error with "Numeric Field Overflow". The text box it is merging into has plenty of space for the new text to fit into. The "Help" screen explains "overflow", which any intermediate user should understand anyway, but Numeric Overflow has nothing in the help menu. I can't seem to find anything in the blogs to help either. That is what makes me think this must be a no-brainer that I just haven't figured out. Could someone help my feeble mind?     - setting gutter Trying to use Publisher to publish a book. I need to find a way to set gutter and it would be great to be able to set mirror margins (as you can in word). Can this be done in Publisher? Specifications should look like this: Leave at least .5" margins on all your pages. Most books will require a gutter of .2" to .3". A gutter provides a little bit of extra margin on the spine edge of your pages, making your book easier to read without putting too much stress on the spine. For coil-bound books, the coils bite about 5/16" (8mm) on the spine edge, but we would suggest a gutter of 3/8" (9mm). Follow these directions to set your margins: Microsoft Word: Choose Page Setup from the File menu, then use the Margins tab. When adding a gutter, make sure to select Mirror Margins. Then when I get inside it says the rebate is good only through December 31,2005. Why do you show it on the website and allow the boxes to be sold in the stores. Publisher 2000 has a 2 gigabyte limit. Do this, view, pictures, turn off
detailed display. Delete some of your temp items. Type %temp% in the address bar
in Windows Explorer.
