    - create publisher booklet with mail merge Hi, I have an excelfile that contains testresults of 50 students i made a booklet with 12 pages (a4 folded to a5 so 3 pages from the printer) The problem is that i don't know how to make 50 different booklets.     - File Conversions from Publisher 2000 to Publisher 2007 I was running Pub 2000 on Windows 98 and upgraded to Pub 2007 on Vista. I bought the upgrade yesterday. I opened one of my 24-page newsletters (printed landscape, 2 pages per page) and everything was fine except . . . page 2 and 3 were now pages 23 and 24! What are my options?     - Saving multiple pages as web pages in Publisher 2003 I have been send a Publisher 2003 document from another person. I wish to convert it to web pages so that I may load it so that other people can view it via a browser. I have tried to save it as single file web page or web page but only page 1 is saved as html. If I try to save each page individually, giving them an unique name, but only page 1 is saved, each time with the unique name. The on-line help does not appear to help much here. Does anyone have an idea what to do? I'm sure that I must not be the 1st to ask this. Alternatively is it possible to save the whole publication as a single web file? All is working fine except I can not find where to select the preferred email account to use - I use several on my computer and it keeps using the default.     - Publishing on the Web Hello there. My name is Michael and I'm having a challenge with Publishing my web page on the Web. Here is what is happening. I am currently using Yahoo Geocities and uploaded my web pages. I go to view the Index, my first page, and it comes up well (outside of the graphics that I have not uploaded yet). So I click on one of the links on the side bar and down on the lower left corner (where the 'done' is) I see the correct page listed, but the webpage blanks out. I look up at the address and it still shows the address of the 'index' page. If I go to the address and manually type the next page that should have been linked to it will send me there.... Anyone have any idea what is going on?     - Picture frame box Hi there, I've just upgraded to publisher 2007 and i'm having trouble getting to grips with it, the main problem being the lack of quick and easy way of adjusting the frame around a picture. On publisher 2000 i'm sure there was a button you clicked and the frame shrunk down to the size of the image. The only way i've found of doing this is on 07 is by manually changing the frame by editing the wrap points. This is very time consuming when you have a lot of pictures to change.     - Slow printing mail merge Hi, I'm hoping to find a solution to slow printing from Publisher 2003, 4-up postcards with thousands of name/addresses being merged onto a very simple Publisher doc (each 4-up sheet spools at about 12K in size). I am printing through a Fiery print controller on a Xerox 252 using the PCL driver (PS was no help so far). I have already applied changes recommended in KBA 891904, which did speed up the processby sending in larger batches. I also checked the setting changes shown on KBA 279385, but saw no difference.     - Calendar Formatting I am using Publisher 2003 to create a monthly calendar that I would like to print in ladscape mode. The days of the calendar has text that discribe what will be happening on that day. When I print them on avery labels (8871- 10 on a page) the top 2 are perfect but as the page goes down, the printing on the cards go up about 1/16 of a inch. I have tried adjusting my baseline guide spacings and my style paragraph settings to every possible combination but I can't seem to achieve this. Now, M$, as is its wont, has encased the images and clips inside proprietary 'sbs' and 'sbt' archives (it's the former that actually contain the needed - the latter just look like some kind of 'pointer' file). So, I suppose my question is twofold: - 1) Can I persuade PI to open its own projects and/or 2) Is there any way of extracting the images from within the 'shoebox' files (I did find something called 'xtractor.exe' but that doesn't appear to want to run outside of PIP ('unable to decompress the package due to corrupt archive.' I've no idea what it means by 'corrupt archive' - I assume it's referring to itself). I am attempting to design a flyer for a friend's chocolaterie - and am wanting to do it the lazy way!     - mail merge troubleshooting I am looking for troubleshooting help in Publisher 2003 mail merge. We are trying to add mailing addresses to a full color 4 page 8 1/2 x 11 booklet. Original booklet file is 13 MG. 300 Addresses are in an Excel file. I have tried 2 different excel files. We got this to work once for 1/2 the list before it quit. In November I got it to work, albeit slowly, and 10 addresses at a time. I have since had the registry fix installed and double-checked by our IT dept. Since the registry fix, I cannot print the file, or pdf it with anything involving a merge. I also tried to cancel the merge. Since I cancelled the merge, the merge wizard is greyed out. Any suggestions? I have searched the Help files and the forums; The past week I have tried everything I can think of. Am working off my desktop; Also tried renamings, re-copying original, etc. Is there a Bible on Publisher merges that goes indepth? I work in Microsoft Publisher all the time with my publications. Today, my
document shut down after saving and when I try to open it, I get a "cannot
