    - Publish htm Calendar to Web I'm using Pub 2007 and have a 12 month calendar. When I publish to the web, I can only see the first month. the other months are written, but I can only see the first month. I changed the size from 11x8.5 to 11x70in but that didn't help.     - Header/footer/page number problem Hello! Could someone please help me to add headers and page numbers to every page, but the first three pages of a booklet. Page 1 and the header should actually start on Page 4. I'm creating a business directory in booklet format, selected under Layout View, in Publisher 2003. I added page numbers, starting with Page 1 on the third page of the booklet. I inserted a section then entered the page numbers. Everything looks fine -- until I decided to add headers. When I decided to add headers I can only get them to show on every other page, despite trying the two page option on the Master Page procedure. When I try to select single page/two page, as per the instructions, I get a message stating that my document is going to be changed to a single page document. Also, when I try to follow these instructions: "In the Edit Master Pages task pane, click the arrow next to the single master page where you want to create facing headers and footers, and then click Edit," I'm at a loss. There is no arrow and no edit, unless they mean "edit" on the toolbar at the top of the page. After following all of Publisher's instructions, I find that the page numbering stays the same, but I get headers on every page, even on those I want to be blank. Any help will be appreciated.     - Printing a paper program from Publisher I created a folding program for an event on Publisher 2000. I upgraded to Publisher 2007. When I went in to edit the progran and print, pages 1 and 4 are fine. Of pages 2 and 3 (the inside of the program) only the left side of page 2 prints. Page 3 is fine.     - Publisher 2007 wizard problem I have been using Publisher 2007 since it has been out and just recently have had a error message that comes up each time I open it. This just seemed to begin after I installed System Pack 1 for Vista Home Premium. The error message is: "Publisher cannot run this wizard. This feature is not available. To make this feature available, run Setup again, click "Add or Remove Features" and change the feature to "Run from My Computer". I have done this. I have uninstalled Publisher and still get the same message after installation. After I re-installed it, it now opens up to a blank template, with this error message.     - Dishwasher Safe Keyboards and Mice Just sharing some info I came across the other day. If you are like me, having a cup of coffee, soft drink or even a glass of wine and a Boscotti there is a good chance some or all will end up on the keyboard. Unless you use one of those plastic keyboard covers (I presently do) the keyboard is kaput if a spill occurs.     - Publisher 2000 mail merge with Excel Newbie here. I am trying "change to a different (Excel 2000) database in an existing (Publisher 2000) document (mailing label)". I easily locate the new database file, click "Yes" to use the entries in the first row as field names. Then, I get into trouble. 1. The pop-up window instructs me to enter the name of the worksheet or table that contains the info that I want to merge. I had been typing "Sheet1" but the next pop-up window scolds me with "The name you have chosen for this field, table or worksheet is invalid. Please rename it and try again." 2. So, I tried renaming my Sheet1 to "Address List". I repeat the exercise in Step 1, but I keep getting the same scolding pop-up window without any results. Please tell me what I am doing wrong.     - Links don't work when converted to PDF... I am doing a Newsletter for a friends business that will be emailed to her customers. For the articles that are too long for the space on the first page, I put a "more details" link to another page within the same document that contains the entire article. I was able to get this to work in Publisher. However, when I try to convert it to a PDF the links in the PDF don't work. I need this to work as I have to send the file as a PDF to the person who does her website so it can be added there each month.     - Creating "signature" groups in book to be hand-bound Just got Office Suites. Already fit to be tied. I have prepared a booklength document in (the new) Word and thoroughly formatted it--margins, linespace, various fonts, page size. It is to end up printed (by me, on my Lexmark) on single-folded 8.5 x 11 sheets. Each page, then, will be 8.5 by 5.5. Naturally, there will be a margin around the text, and running headers. Total pages thus formatted, about 240. To print books of any length, the pages must be grouped into what are called "signatures"--basically mini-booklets with two pages on each side of the sheet. But the pages on a given sheet, and fromt sheet to sheet, are not consecutive, because they are to be folded in a "nested" form--the first side of the first sheet may be pages 1 and 20, etc. This is all standard stuff. When I copy my Word document into Publisher (20 pages worth, let's say), I use a booklet-type template which I've carefully created. The problem is that much of my original formatting is being overridden somehow. Some fonts come through; other font changes are ignored. My indents are replaced by no-indent. My font size changes from 12 pt to 10 pt. Paragraph formatting is altered. Strangest thing: whereas the empty text box I've created (with the "use for each new page" directive checked) has the precise dimensions needed, the importing creates new text boxes right on top of it that are fully 11 inches long and too wide! Nor does there seem to be a straightforward way to "tell" Publisher to simply make the content of each text box replicate the content of the corresponding page on my Word print-layout screen, and then move on to a new text box on a new page. (Evidently print layout "pages" are just set up for display; they aren't real pages that can be exported over to Publisher. And there's no command that allows you to "select the displayed single page you are now looking at" either.) I'm amazed that Office has no straightforward way to handle this. This is basic desktop publishing. Having worked at this for several days now, purchased a book, gone to some of the helper sites mentioned on this group, and even patronized Office's own "help" file (which is generally useless)--I obviously need advice.     - Installing 2007 over 2000 suite We are a church with very, very old software. I recently bought Publisher 2007 (standalone--and worrying that was a mistake) but am having trouble. It installed alright, but it will not open/start. We run XP and Office 2000 Sm Business and Publisher 2000 installed now. IE v. 7. I use Publisher for a newsletter (two-columns) which varies from fortnight to
fortnight. What is the easiest way to make text flow to each column. I have
trouble when I add columns -cannot get it to flow.

Are you creating a new text box? If you are, select the first text box, on the
toolbar there is a chain-like icon, click it, the cursor will turn into a
pouring bucket, click the new text box.

You can make any text box into a multiple column box. Right-click the text box,
format text box, text box tab, columns button.
