    - Inserting Scanned Items Does anyone know the most efficiant format to use to insert a scanned item in Publisher ?     - Publisher Errors!!! I can open up Publisher documents, but when I attempt to save them, there is that error window that pops up and asks if I want to restart Publisher in SAFE mode, which I do and the same thing happens and I've sent the error log file, but no response. This is frustrating because a lot of our clients use this program, even though we advise against it for this reason and many others. I'm not sure what to do, but I cannot save anything.     - Pub 2000 can't open up Pub 2002 I am running Pub 2002 and saved a doc as a Pub 2000 doc so that another user could open it (he is running Pub 2000).     - Tile Printing Options vs. Book Printing Options My first time using MSFT Publisher. As I was making some minor changes in my doc prior to my final print I screwed up big time. Somehow I changed the print features from "Book Printing Options" to "Tile Printing Options." I was working on a 11" X 17" print format newsletter paged for duplex printing. My view is no longer a portrait view but has scrunched everything into landscape. I have tried changing everything I can think of to try and get it back to normal, but no luck. The printer dialogue box offers "tile options," but will not let me go to book "printing," I was trying to get it finished today, but I guess it is called more hurry less speed. -ng- Does anyone know how to fix this?     - text in a circle Hello there. I've been using publisher on and off for about 8 years now but I don't consider myself an expert I've been trying to do something today but haven't managed it so I wonder if anyone can help Basically I want to add text to the inside of a circle close to the circumference and curved rather like the small text you often find around the edges of cd's/dvd's. Can this be done in publisher 2002? I know how to curve text using wordart but the size of the text always remains large. I want text of a very small font that goes pretty much all around the circle, on the inside. I'd like to be able to do this with publisher but I also have Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro 7 by jasc. I am very frustrated by the fact that I cannot open one of my file created in Publisher 2000 using my Publisher 2002 or 2003 versions. The file is converted by Publisher 2003 up to about 74% and then an error message comes up asking that I report the error message to Microsft - which I did.     - Conflict with spellchecker? I have Microsoft XP on my system and currently use Stedman's Medical/Drug Spellchecker through Word as I own a medical transcription service. This works fine without any glitches until I install Microsoft Publisher. As a matter of fact, I installed the new MS Publisher 2003 and I still have a conflict. Publisher works fine but when I open Word, transcribe a medical document, and attempt to spellcheck (Stedman's is the default), its as if I do not have a spellchecker. It will not recognize one medical term whatsoever. I am so frustrated right now since I have to add all these medical terms to the current spellchecker if I want to keep Publisher, which I do.     - Highlighting Text I want to highlight test in a publisher document, but all I seem to be able to to is flood fill color in the entire text box. I've used the Help prompts and apparently there is supposed to be a check box in front of the descriptive phrase, "Show rectangle for text in Web graphic region" under TOOLS > OPTIONS > GENERAL.     - Page Margins I've screwed with margin guides and page layout to no effect. My flyer still will not print without being cut off. Why can't this program print what I have on the screen? On the screen the pictures and text are WELL WITHIN the margin guides, yet when printing the bottom portion is always cut off. I know the printer type will have some effect but it shouldn't be that much. The screen shows my picture about an inch from the bottom margin yet the printout is cut off by an inch.     - Publisher 98 Custom BorderArt When our users try to create custom BorderArt in Publisher 98 on Windows 2000 workstations, they get the "The folder where Publisher keeps BorderArt is unavailable. The folder may have been deleted or renamed, or it's properties may have been changed. Please run Setup again." Office 97 is also installed on the workstations. Q article 179218 does not apply because we do not use compression on our workstations and I have double-checked the border folder is not compressed. I also found a tip on the web to enable content indexing on the border folder. It inconsistently fixed the problem, meaning it fixed the problem for awhile in our test environment but not in our production environment. We do store our clipart on the network. We use ArtGalry 4. Every version of Publisher ever released is compatible with XP.
