I have Publisher 2000 and an HP Designjet 500 (42" roll). I created a
42"x120" banner I would like to print on 1 page. Publisher seems to think I
mean 49" when I type in 120" however and tiles it across 3 sheets. Does
anyone have any solutions?

I don't think this article addresses Design jet 500, but the solution is the
same.

Thank you very much. That solved my problem. It's very round about and
inconvenient, but it works. One thing I will add to the article is be sure to
resize your margins to account for the scaling effect.

I'm glad it worked out for you. I did not know about the margins, I will
remember the suggestion and ask the folks at the Knowledge Base to include it in
the article. Thanks for the feedback, it is appreciated.

Being able to create a one sheet banner worked ok but I cannot get the end of
the text to print. It keeps cutting the left hand side off. When I increase
the lenght of the banner, it shortens the text box. I also tried changing
the margins. Can you assist?

This is a printer problem I suspect. I am not versed in large format printers.
There are very good support documents on the HP web site.
