Remaining work field provides you with total work for each task remaining.
In the Resource and Task Usage views, work in the future is remaining, work
in the past is actual (provided you have updated your schedules correctly:
there shouldn't be any incomplete work in the past, or any completed work in
the future.
Adjust timescale to monthly and you have your information.
If you want a specifically formatted report that the Usage Views don't
provide then you need a VBA macro to create it. This is probably best
created in Excel for individual or all projects.
If you do want to go down this track, let me know your exact needs and I can
provide a quote for you.
