Hi hope someone can help - does anyone know how to position eg a summary bar
so that it appears "vertically centered" in a row. also I have tried printing
off tasks gridlines to differentiate the rows using the bar row lines in a
chart and although they appear in the print preview they do not print off -
any help would be appreciated

thanks

Hello,
To position a symbol bar, go to Format / Bar Styles , select the Summary
symbol, and choose a shape for the "middle".

I guess you could choose a different symbol for Summary Lines, Andy. Or
just let go and accept that the universe is not symmetrical! :)

Have you tried going to Format / Bar Styles and changing the row of the
summary bar (& maybe the other bars)
