    - How do I change the bottom most tier of from days to weeks or mont I am using version 2000, and still learning. I want to remove time scale breakdown of weekls in the bottom most tier and use weeks or months. This is so that my chart can be contained within A4 or A4 size page. With the scaling of the bottom most tire as set (in days), my chart is too long. If I force it to fit on A4 by reducing the print scale, the bar sizes reduce to mere lines and the text is illegible. I would like to be able to copy the final version of a Gantt Chart (Print Preview) so I can paste it on MS Word, or other Office Applications.     - Total resources per day Hi, Using MSP2002 professional. Created Master project by inserting individual project. Levelling required to be done with a typical constraint on number of resources. The activities should be pushed or rescheduled if number of resources ( across all sub-projects ) exceed 40.     - Underallocation of resource I have a resource allocated at 80%. Looking at the resources usage I can see that rather than being applied at 80% the resource is often used at much less and even not at all. If I look at remaining availability the resource is shown to have availability to the maximum 80% in each of these cases.     - Project Standard 2002 - Setup Question Hardware and Office Pro 97 I'm considering implimenting MS Project Standard 2002 on selected workstations and across my office network. There will be 4 users max on the software at any time. I am planning on purchasing the appropriate number of MS Project Standard 2002 software packs. The workstation enviroments are Win 98 and XP with the appropriate processors and hardware requirements. On the Win98 machines we run Office Pro 97. On the XP machines we run Office Pro 2000. We have an NT Server 4.0 with the service packs, ram and harddrive space as required. These are my concerns: 1) The processor on the server is an AMD Family 6 Model 1553 MHz stepping 2 processor. Will MS Project Standard work on this processor (MS PS wants either a Pentium 75 or 200 MHz or higher processor)? We will not be using MS Project Server software. 2) Will MS Project Standard 2002 operate effectively with Office Pro 97? I then created a resource pool file and linked the master schedule to the resource pool.     - Questions about Project Server Hi everyone, My company is contemplating making the move to MS Project Server and I'm researching whether or not it will be a wise move. We've been trying to implement the standalone PC version for several years now and have been encountering widespread resistance (the staff doesn't want to give up Excel). Our initial thinking was to get everyone up to speed with Project on their computers and then make the jump to a Project Server environment. When I use 'format_text style' to change 'All' items to 10 pitch, this is
retained only whilst in the open project - EVEN if I save as global template.

What am I doing wrong?

And how do I change the default font for Task Notes?

Hi Ian,

The Format > Text Styles command formats text in a specific view but does
not affect other views. You would need to change the formats in the views
and then copy the modified views back to Global.MPT.
