Summary Progress bar

In the Tracking Gantt view the Summary Bar has a field
called Summary Progress that shows the Summary Task's
progress as a date. I can only see this field, Summary
Progress, by moving the cursor over the Summary Bar.
How can I pull this date out of Project and add as a
column heading?

The value you see, Summary Progress (date), is a calculated value and
does not exist as a separate field. I played with it a bit but could not
determine exactly how Project is calculating the value. At first I
thought it was simply a date determined by adding Summary line Duration
* Summary line % Complete to the Start date, but it doesn't pan out. I
would have to work on it some more to find out how Project calculates
the Summary Progress date. Once the formula is determined, it would be
possible to put this value into a spare field (e.g. Date1).

I know this doesn't help much. Is there a reason you want to show this
value in a separate field?
