Hi,

Is there any way to show a certain outline level but without the summary task?

e.g.
- AAAA
--111
--- R111
- BBB
--222
---A111

Just showing:
--- R111
--- A111

Cheers,

JB

Under Tools, Options, View tab have you tried deselecting the show Summary
tasks option?

Hi,

Make a filter of your own.
Project, Filtered For..., More Filters, New
Deselect "show summary tasks"
Now for the condition
Outline Level greater than... 2 (for instance)

The problem is that I only wanted a certain level 3 sub task.
Filter allows me to define them but I am talking about 5 tasks x 10 sub
tasks each x 50 level 3 tasks.

Let me illustrate the example a little better
level 1 are tasks, each task contains a same sub task but each sub task has a
different level3 task (deliverable). I want to see the level 3 tasks only
for certain tasks.

- AAA
--111
--- A1
-- 222
--- A1
- BBB
--111
---A2
--222
--- A2
- CCC
-- 111
--- A3
-- 222
--- A3

In this example, say I only wanted to see level3 tasks for BBB and CCC AND
only level2 task 111 with no summary tasks showing for presentation purposes.

i.e.

A1
A2

summary tasks gets in the way of visual clarity.

Hi,

Since I cannot discover any logic in what you want, you'll have to decide
manually what you want to show
Insert a flag field that you set to yes for the tasks you want to see and
make a filter based on that flag field equals yes.
