Resource Usage - Remaining Work

I have created a schedule named resource pool so that my mangers can view and
plan remaining work for all schedules. My problem is that the resource usage
view shows remaining work on some schedules (sometimes several months in the
future) although the actual schedules have zero hours work remaining. Any
ideas what may be causing this glitch?

We use Project Server 2003.
