Hi,
I'm trying to rename a project in project server 2007, with no success.
It seems the action does not response.
Is there any solution or workaround for that?
Thanks.

In the future, please post your Project Server questions in the
microsoft.public.project.server newsgroup, as this newsgroup is dedicated to
the Microsoft Project desktop application only. To answer your question,
why don't you tell us precisely HOW you are trying to rename the project. I
haven't a clue what you have tried so far that isn't working. Let us know.

Thanks for the information.
I tried the following:
1. On the "File --> Open" screen, i opened "Tools --> Rename" at the left
bottom options in the screen = nothing happened
2. On the "File --> Open" screen, I steped into the relevant project name &
renamed it. I got a massage that the rename job was successfuly submitted to
the server & might take time untill the change wil show. It's been a month
now = nothing changed.
3. I tried to rename the project through the "PWA: Project Center --> Edit
Project Properties" = nothing changed.

I don't know of any other way to do it.
Any solutions / suggesstions?
Thanks,
Yaara.

Either technique should have worked, almost immediately in fact. Ask your
Project Server administrator to look in the Queue to see if these two Queue
jobs are stuck. I suspect they are, which could be indicative of other
problems with your Project Server system. Hope this helps.

Hi Dale,

I've experienced this as well. No job, successful or otherwise made it into
the Queue using either method to rename. Hopefully it will get fixed in SP1.
