I'm looking at buying some project management software. I'm having trouble
finding information about MS Project 2003 that says very much about its
functionality: PERT? GANTT? CPM? etc

Any pointers to such information will be greatly appreciated.

Yes to all. Project is an excellent scheduling tool. Unless you have very
advanced and complicated scheduling needs, there is no point spending the
money on anything else. In fact if you are a scheduling beginner on a small
project, start off in Excel then graduate to Project later.

Are you asking what PERT etc means or if Project supports them?

For detailed info on its functionality, check the MS Website
www.microsoft.com/project

I was looking for some information (detailed or overview) on its
functionality. I had spent a lot of time at the website and really didn't
find very much of that type of information.

Thanks for your help,
Bill

We can help you better if you can be more specific about what you're looking
for. The MS site has quite a bit of info on Project's features and some
white papers and case studies as well. If that doesn't tell you what you
need, ask some specific questions and we'll be more than happy to help.
