If you can print it to 11x17 in your printer in Visio, you can just as
easily do so directly in Project. The page sizes you can print in any
application are determined more by the printer and its driver than the
application doing the printing. Even if you could export the view to Visio
and set the drawing page to anything you like, it would still actually print
as a number of panels the size of your printer output that you'd have to
paste up. Remember Visio has a drawing page size setting and a printer page
setting - the printer page is the same as you'd see in the print dialog in
Project and printing in Project itself will give exactly the same output you
could get in Visio.
Jack's suggestion to look into a plotter might be an option to consider - if
you do this a lot it makes a perfect business case to justify the purchase
of a spiffy new toy to your CFO <grin>.
