I would like to know what is the standard used by other users when setting up
a Maximum number of hours allowed per day. We were thinking of leaving it
with about 16 hours (just in case), but if someone needs to enter more hours,
is there a way to override that value on the fly? or the default will need to
be changed?. I am just curious.

Thanks in advance!

Depends. Are you talking robots, teen-agers, people? In my experience,
the maximum hours in a day is 24. What are you setting and for what
purpose?

I suspect that you are referring to the Maximum number of hours field on the
Tracking settings page in PWA. If this is the case, I would recommend that
you set the value to 24 hours. Also, in the future please post your Project
Server questions in the microsoft.public.project.server newsgroup, as this
newsgroup is devoted to the Microsoft Project desktop application only.
Hope this helps.
