Does anyone know what the difference is between the:

MSP_PROP_AUTHOR field
and the;
MSP_PROP_MANAGER field is?

These fields are located in the MSP_PROJECTS (project professional client)
table. The database reference guide (ie. PJDB.htm) doesn't provide a
reference to where this information is sourced (ie. from within the project
professional client intereface), nor the difference between the two fields.

Is Author the original creator of a project and Manager the person managing
the project at any one time? For some reason, the MSP_PROP_MANAGER field is
blank for all projects within our server environment...?

Many, many thanks,

Nock (newb)

Hi Nock,

This is only a guess, but the File > Properties dialog box contains both
an Author and Manager field. I assume it pulls information from those
properties. The Author field is filled in by the product based upon the
User Name on the Tools > Options, General tab. The Manager field is user
populated.
