Link a prject to excel

If I cut out all activities in Project and then paste them into Excel as a link I will get a dynamic picture of the project in Excel. However I do not get the complete project if i wish to show it on a day-by-day basis. It works OK if I use a smaller scale. There seems to be a limited width either of what is cut out of project or what can be stuck inte excel. Can I in any way change this limit?

No. I would also be careful because the copy and paste/link technique uses
DDE technology which all too easily corrupts one of the files. It's better
to copy or export the data when you need it.

Export time phased data using the Analyze TimeScaled Data in Excel macro. To
run this:
View, Toolbars, Analysis

Excel 2003 with Project 2002+ has a new possibility:
In Project 2002+ save the project file as a .xml file.
Create a .xsd file to define the format of the spreadsheet and what data
appears.
Open the xml file to get your report.

Search msdn.microsoft.com for details on formatting the xsd file.
