Please make the wheel-mouse operate as you do in MS Visio. The wheel alone
scrolls up & down; with Shift it scrolls left and right; and with Ctrl it
zooms. Right now, Shift and Ctrl both zoom!

Thanks, Tim

Hi Tim,

This newsgroup is specifically for matters dealing with Microsoft Project.
I suggest you try to find a more appropriate newsgroup that deals with
Office problems. If you really mean for Project, then I suggest you use the
feedbak link on the MS Project web page.

Mike

Thanks for your input. Project seems now to be considered part of Office so
far as it seems from MS's websites and the folder into which everything gets
installed in All Programs, so I think my suggestion would equally-well fit in
both groups (I think the functionality should operate in Excel too but it
doesn't).

The interesting thing is that these apps do come from different stables
(esp. Visio) and although you would think they should be consistent they
aren't!

In making this post I chose the New/Suggestions for MS option thinking it
would go to them but of course it is just another post in the group. I
checked MS's main Project page for the Feedback option but the obvious one
pertains to the site not the app, but I'll look some more.

Thanks, Tim

OK, Tim. Startng from the Project site at this URL:
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/FX010857951033.aspx , select Contact Us at
the bottom of the left column. Then click Make a Suggestion, towards the
bottom of the page.

The Wheel functions works fine for me in both Excel and Project - check your
installation.
