    - Resource overallocation There is an overallocation problem with my Resource Scheduling. I had split my window into 2 with Resource Usage view at the top and the Resource allocation view at the bottom. While attempting to eliminate overallocation I found 2 ways. One is just pushing the task in the lower pane. The other is entering elapsed duration. I dont know what elapsed duration mean?     - Help- How do I change default hours per day I want to change the default hours a team works in MS Project 2003 Professional. For example, the default time is 8:00am to 12:00pm and then 1:00pm to 5:00pm. I need to change this to reflect a 4 hour work days of 7:00am to 11:00am.     - Project Duration vs Costs I'm new to MS Project and I've taken a few classes. I want my tasks to complete w/in the duration that I gave them. Ex: Design: 9 Days with 2 resource at 100%. What it is doing is taking 1 res = 30/hr and 50/hr = 5760.00 for this task. Acutally what I want it to do is have this task be completed within the 9 days. They will not be working on this task for 9 days * 8 hours/day. I know I'll have to put in how many hours it actually took on the resource sheet. Any suggestions?     - Split tasks Hi, I already have a list of projects with a start date and contract duration. I now want to insert a reminder to myself 12 weeks in advance of each project start date, that the lead in activities should begin. I could set up a linked milestone but that would double the amount of tasks on the sheet. Is it possible to do this via a split task and determine the period between the split whilst the end date remains fixed?     - How do I display two files at once? When you use microsoft word, you can have 2 different files open at once - so you can place one on another screen when using dual monitors.     - Correct way to update a fixed work task Hi, i am looking for a correct way to enter actuals for a proj with all fixed work type tasks. e.g. i have a task A which i baselined with following value 1. fist entered task name and work (effort estimated) as A and 16 hrs. 2. then entered the resource name and % availability as 25% to calculate the duration as 8 days.     - Project Server 2003 Messageupon opening project Upon trying to open a project in Project Server 2003 using Project Professional 2003 client, I'm getting a message as follows: 'Enterprise Global already contains a filter named "Enterprise Resources" ... (4 choices) Replace filter with one from enterprise global; Replace all items with duplicate names; Rename the filter in the project; Cancel opening the project' I've been choosing 'Cancel' and it does not allow me to open the project.     - Current Date doesn't match Status Date When using these calculation options, "move end of completed parts back to status date" and "move start of remaining parts forward to status date", I noticed that the result is different when the status date is set to the current date. According to the Help documentation, when the Status Date is set to "NA", the Status Date defaults to the Current Date. However, when you set the Status Date to the Current Date, the Status Date is a day after the Current Date. When I set the Status Date to "NA", it's updating the task as if the work was done yesterday. When I set the Status Date to the Current Date, it updates the task as if the work was done today (which is what I want, however, I don't want to be resetting the Status Date to the Current Date everyday).     - Tracking Hi We are hoping to track projects by using the "Reschedule uncompleted work to start after" the current status date. But I am a little confused by its logic. E.g. A task of 10 days fixed duration scheduled to start on Monday 10th July. It is now the following Monday and I want to update the schedule. I change the status date to Monday 17th and use the "Update Tasks" dialog box to give a start date (will keep 10th in this case) and put in a remaining duration of 4 days (which is following the schedule) I "Reschedule uncompleted work to start after" for the entire project and the remaining work (4 days) goes to the right hand side (Future) of the status line which is what I would expect. I would expect the task to now show an actual duration of 6 days but instead it shows "0". How can a task that has an actual start date of 6 days ago have no duration? I know you can specify a duration in the "Update Tasks" dialog box but this doesn't really make sense especially as I could enter 7 days and this would mean I have done work in the future which is impossible. Currently I see the days with a date format e.g. 11.07. and all columns in white. Therefore I have no indicator about non-working days.     - Rough estimate on tracking baseline schedule I am going to baseline my project and would like to track the schedule in a very rough estimate. I want to baseline a task base on fixed duration, say 1 week. If in the mid week, the performer only accomplish 10% of the task, what's best attribute to show in the report that the task is behind schedule. Secondly, will the Project calculate the projected finish date? My second question is, if I track the project just using the milestone and baseline the project, I can use the "Actual finish date" to show the milestone slippage, but how to I compute the slippage in "days"? I have a form FClients (data from Clients table) and a form FClientsOrders
(data from StoredProcedure qOrders).

I have created a button in FClients to open the FClientsOrders to see the
orders of the loaded client of FClients.

My problem is that I see all orders (of all clients).....
