When I send my saved project to another user who has the same MS Proj 2003,
that user opens the project and prints but the number of pages is different
from mine. Is there some setting that could be wrong for the other user? I
thought when I save the project, it is the same after sending and opened by
another user.
Thanks

Hi rwhrangers ,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup :)

Check that the timescales are identical. Check page setup is the same. How
does it look in Print Preview?

FAQs, companion products and other useful Project information can be seen at
this web address: http://project.mvps.org/faqs.htm

Hope this helps - please let us know how you get on :)

Thanks for responding:
My understanding is that the defaults are taken from the project that you
open. What is happening is that I save the project by removing the Gantt
portion by pushing the view bar all the way to the right, eliminating the
Gantt, just leaving the tasks and few other columns. It shows 10 pages by
print preview. When another user opens it, it shows exactly how I saved it
except the print preview shows 100 pages, which they then print and 90% is
tossed itn the recycle.

Project's printing relies on the installed printer and not on the project.
Print preview takes its instructions from the printer driver - different
printer could thus mean different output. What is on the other 90 pages?
You could try the Task Sheet view customized to your needs.
