Hi,

in former versions of Project I could for example declare Friday as non
working in a resource calendar. In Project 2007 I cannot find this option.

Any idea?

Thanks Paul

Paul --

Navigate to the Resource Sheet view and double-click the name of the
resource in question. On the General page, click the Change Working Time
button. Hope this helps.

Hi Dale,

Yes, I know. But in previous versions I could select the row header for
example for Friday and set this as free, BUT now I have to enter a start and
end date for the calendar exception and I do not want to limit the exception
to dedicated time period.

Thanks again
Paul

Paul --

If I understand the issue correctly, you want to set every Friday as a
non-working day for one particular resource, right? If so, here's how:

1. Apply the Resource Sheet view and double-click the name of the resource
in question.
2. Click the Change Working Time button.
3. In the Change Working Time dialog, select the Work Weeks tab
4. Click the Details button
5. In the Details dialog, select Friday
6. Select the "Set days to nonworking time" option and click OK.
7. Click OK to close the Change Working Time dialog.
8. Click OK to close the Resource Information dialog.
9. Save your project.

Hope this helps.
