I just installed the Beta 2 Technical Refreash of Office 2007 and in Project
2007 I can't add task creating a new project and adds a task named Finish. It
seems that some privileges problems because in the task information I see the
fill grayed out. I have admin privilege on by laptop and it worked great
before the technical refresh. Any ideas?

Hi Al,

I have Project 2007 Beta2 TR installed and am having no problems either
adding tasks to a new file or adding tasks to an existing file.

Have you tried Help> Microsoft Office Diagnostics to see if there may be
a problem with the program or the installation of the Technical Refresh?

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.

Julie

I have been having the same issue that Al is reporting. After installing the
Technical Refresh, I can no longer add tasks. The installation seems to be
correct, but nothing I do seems to change its behavior

Problem solved, found a post further down with a link to a MS Project TR
specific download. Once that was installed, everything started working
correctly.
