Most likely, one of the tasks that you're trying to indent is linked to
the summary line you're trying to indent it under. Select the summay
line, then switch to the Network Diagram view. You may have to zoom out
to see the link clearly. If there's a line connecting one (or more than
one) of the tasks and the Summary line, double click in the link and
select Delete. This will remove the link.
Most of us here strongly recommend against liking Summary lines to
tasks. This is one of many reasons.
