Whenever I create a line or box it's default dimensions are taking as inches
but I need in millimeter (mm). How to change the default dimensions in to mm?

You can change it to cm instead. Have a look at:

Powerpoint uses the measurements from Windows. You have to go to
Start/Settings/Control Panel and there to the "Regional Options". It depends
on your Windows-Versions where to go next - have a look for "Numbers -
Measurement" or something similar. Change to "Metric".
