I am exporting the backgrounds of a bunch of slides by clearing the objects
and exporting the slides. Is there any way to speed up this process? I was
seeing some ideas through excel to freeze the window, but I cant find the
equivilant for powerpoint. Anything along the lines of:

making powerpoint invisible, but still editable
turning auto update off
or freezing the desktop altogether

I am fairly new to programming so I am not even sure if any of these will
greatly improve the speed, but it seems like they may. Any information would
be greatly appreciated.

Hard to say w/o seeing the existing process. Post the relevant sample code and
somebody will have a go.
