Is there a plug-in or add-on for PPT 2002 to save as XML?

To save what, exactly, as XML?

What do you want it to do, what'll happen with the resulting XML?

Save each slide's data in XML format, the same feature as Office 2007.

OpenOffice.org Impress can save slides in XML. I was going to install OpenOffice only
for it's export XML feature but I wanted to see if PPT 2002 could be made to do this
first.

I'd like to be able to use the XML data to grab the title, text, etc. of each slide for
use with another application.

OK ...

I'm pretty sure that if you install the compatibility pack it'll give 2002 the ability to
save in the new 2007 format.

But it's not simple XML, it's a whole host of XML and related files in a series of
folders within a ZIP file.

It might be a great deal simpler to automate PPT and have it spit the same information to
a text file or even an XML file in your own choice of format.

Start here and follow a few of the links below to get an idea what's involved. Not a
lot, really.
