When in presentation mode, the slides went back to slide 1 all by itself - no
one was touching ANYTHING. I am using PPT 2003. I imported "slides from file"
into my document from our speakers document. This is the only thing I can
think that would have caused this glitch. It happened several times.

Has anyone out there had this happen to them?

If your slideshow is setup to be what's called "kiosk mode" - then it's
designed to go back to slide 1 all by itself when nobody is touching
anything.

slideshow menu > setup slideshow > change to one of the other modes (other
than kiosk mode)

cheers
