Is there a way of organizing a collection or library of slides taken from a
number of different presentations so they can be reused in future
presentations? I've seen ads for a program called SlideWhere.

Is this program helpful? Are there other programs that are better? Is
there a way to do this just using Powerpoint alone (I'm using PPT97 and
PPT2003)?

Thanks!

One of the things about slide libraries is that everybody knows the right way
to do it and everybody's right way is different. Different needs, different
right ways. <g>

Most of these programs allow you to try them out for free. I'd try a couple
and see which is the best fit for your needs.

If you use a consistent template for your presentations and have a way of
organizing the slides that allows you to locate the one you want easily, you
can always use Insert, Slides From File to bring in the slides you need.

Another one to look at is ShufflePoint.

We just started our Beta at shufflepoint.com - an on-line slide library
application. An installed version is also available. You can get more info
at www.shufflepoint.com

I've updated this:

Create a library of slides to build presentations from (slide repository)
http://www.pptfaq.com/FAQ00901.htm

to include a few of the products that've been mentioned here and some others
I've run across here and there.
