I am a NOVICE at PowerPoint and need immediate help. I have made a
presentation for Sunday morning pre-service that loops with announcements and
music continuously.
My problem is that when I try to add a new slide into this loop, it does not
appear when the presentation runs. What must I do to have the new slide to
display in the loop. I must have done something wrong!!
HELP!

Sorry if we missed the Sunday morning pre-service!
When I loop a presentation and add a slide, it continues to loop.
Perhaps go into slide sorter view (View>Slide Sorter), select all of the
slides, and click the Transition button. Then, in the Slide Transition task
pane, look for the Advance Slide section near the bottom. Set Automatically
After to the timing that you want and choose Apply to All Slides. I'm
thinking that the advance setting isn't being applied to your new slide.

I assume that you already did Slide Show>Set Up Show and chose Loop
Continuously Until 'Esc' to get the presentation to loop in the first place.

Please tell us which version of PowerPoint you use. And check whether the
new slide is hidden (in the sorting pane you see a strikethrough slide
symbol).

Best regards,
