I use Excel 2003. When I insert an excel chart, which I set up with rounded
corneres, as a picture - I lose the rounded corners and Powerpoint puts them
back as square corners. How can I stop this? Thanks....

Can you clarify what you man about setting up the chart with rounded
corners? What are you doing to do that?

How are you getting the picture into PPT?

In Excel - FORMAT CHART AREA, choose ROUNDED CORNERS. Save / Copy. Jump
over to Powerpoint deck (using templates that have placeholder for charts,
EDIT, PASTE SPECIAL, PICTURE. I choose PICTURE because I am sending this
deck out and this ensures no changes to the financials can be made.

Using PPT 2003 and Excel 2003, it works here when I choose EMF or WMF. Those
are actually my only two choices (well, besides Excel Object). Odd.

In 2007, I have lots more choices, but wow...they all paste with rounded
corners.

Hmmm. I'm not sure what would be causing the difference. Which version of
PPT are you using? Wonder if "templates that have placeholders for charts"
has anything to do with it?

For the record
I get exactly the same as Echo (round corners and WMF / EMF)

What happens if you use SHIFT > Edit > Copy in excel and just paste in PPT?
