    - F4 on Custom Animation Being a teacher, its been several months since I've tried to do this, but seems like this has worked for me before. Using PowerPoint 2000, I am inserting pictures, then under Custom Animation choosing Random Effects on the Effect Tab. Then I click on the next picture on the next slide, and click F4, which in my opion should also mark that picture as Random Effects. It isn't doing so. F4 works with adding borders, with resizing pictures, with moving pictures to a specified location, just not with adding Random Effects.     - Table information on powerpoint "refuses" to be the same as the da I have "edited data" in excel. The table in power point is supposed to read the text in the category exactly (ie Jul-08) but instead it's replacing it with another value (ie Jan-08)??     - MS Ofc 2000 PowerPoint Organization Chart Problem I'm using MS Ofc 2K Professional. I have a PP file that contains 5 organizational charts. The file is stored on a shared drive. Other users can open the file and select/modify any or all charts. When I open the file I can only select/modify 3 of the five charts. I don't have the exact msg in front of me ATT but it says something about MS Charts. I've had Office removed/reinstalled and Office update ran and updates installed.     - PC to Mac tabs don't work right When I take a PowerPoint 2003 file created on a PC and open it on a Mac in 208, the tabs don't line up. When I put the cursor in the text area, the tabs on the ruler bar shows that they are lined up, but they are staggered. I'm not sure what else to check.     - Text boxes are putting letters on top of each other Today when I open a new Powerpoint 2007 file or open a previously saved file, all the text is garbled. The letters are directly on top of one another. I installed Windows Service Pack 3 last week, but uninstalled it this morning to see if that fixed it. Nope.     - Refresh linked with excel object using VBA Dear All, Recently I stumbled upon such a problem: I have power point presntation (pp 2000) which contains approxamately 50 slides. On each slide there are tabels and charts. This objects are linked from excel. My question is how can I automaticaly refresh these objects so that I won't have to refresh them manually.     - Writing text on a black or white results in streaks across the scr I am using PPT 2007 on my tablet. When I use the black screen or white screen option to write text, a big streak line appears to randomly pop up from the edges of some of the letter edges.     - Changing path/type of a video file? Hi, is there any possibility to change the path to a video file in an existing presentation? For example: There is a slide with a video path (.../video1.mpg). Now I'd like to change the path to another file (.../video1.wmv.), so that all other animations remain the same. For pictures I can use the option "Replace Picture" (respectively "Bild =E4ndern" in German). In this special case the existing video file is to big, so I converted it with another codec.     - Changing Options on all Networked PCs I need to change the spelling options on all networked pcs within my organisation. We want to change it by unticking the "Ignore words in UPPERCASE" and "Ignore words with numbers" checkboxes.     - Chart data (excel format) in power point charts I've been creating simple charts in power point (excel opens and I can create the chart and it looks great). Once I save the file and reopen the ppt file later, the chart is still there and looks correct, but I can't open the excel file to modify any data.     - Opening Powerpoint 2000 ppt file in Powerpoint 2002 I am having a weird issue here. I have a powerpoint file created in powerpoint 2000. There are no strange fonts or anything in this file. When I move the file to a computer running powerpoint 2002, it does not open the file properly, all the text has been moved slightly, or parts are cut off, spaces between paragraphs have increased. What is strange is when I do a file open, there is a small preview window, in this window, it is displaying properly, but once I hit Open, all the formatting changes. Is there any way to convert this file from the 2000 version to 2002 without losing the formatting? Is there other steps I should be following to open this file in powerpoint 2002? One other note, I opened this file in the powerpoint viewer 2003 version, and it also messes up the formatting.     - Can't add logarithmic trendline PowerPoint 2007 I have an X-Y graph showing the length of sheepshead (fish) at ages from hatching to 20 years. I can add trendlines in exponential, linear, polynomial, and moving average. However, the data are logarithmic but when I choose either logarithmic (or power, just to test), there's no line. We got everything completed and the goal is to have the presentation burned to a CD when complete. The one thing that doens't work are the animation videos. The reason I want to do this is for a large public quiz. If the question is
on slide 1 and the answer on slide 2 and I accidently press the right arrow
twice I would give the answer away!

Needing two keys to be pressed would obviously reduce the risk. Thanks if

Disable the Advance slide on click (in slide transitions). Use action buttons
to advance the slide.

same slide
