PPT2003 to PPT2007 Conversion Problem

I have a very frustrating problem in changing from PPT 2003 to PPT 2007. The
problem is in animating the entrance of bullet points one at a time from the
Slide during a Slide Show. With 2003 you could just animate the entrance of
each object in the order you wanted them to come in and they looked great.
The objects I am using are text bullet points with text shadowing. With the
same slide shown in 2007 there is a black background of the text that resides
on the slide when animating the entrance of each object before the object is
clicked for entrance on to the screen. I am wits end in trying to figure out
to solve this problem.

You've applied a shape shadow in 2003, not a text shadow. See
