Great. I didn't mention this, but I should have: you may need to use the
Send to Front options (Home tab | Drawing group | Arrange button) to bring
the box with the link in front of the SmartArt. You can also use the
Selection and Visibility pane (Home tab | Editing group | Select button's
arrow) to select the various boxes and move them in front of the diagram.
