    - Inserted Music Won't Play Using Power Point 2003. I created a new photo album and inserted approximately 55 individual pictures with each picture on one slide with a title. I then did a view>slide master so that I could set a constant background. Now I have a song track (.wma file) that I want to play over the first 11 slides. On Slide 1 which is a title slide with title and subtitle, I insert>sound from file and select the wma file I want. Then I right click on the sound icon and choose custom animation. I select it to start with previous and set the effect options to stop playing after 11 slides. Problem is that the sound won't start playing!! I've tried setting it to start after previous with no time delay and with a half second time delay and everything else I can think of just to see if I can get the sound to begin playing. I've even tried using different sound files (all of them are .wma) but to no avail. No sound!! Any suggestions?? Tag: Animation Tag: 386776

My main use for the laptop is doing presentations. Biggest challenge is imbedded videos. WMF files will error out and shut down the PPT. Other types will tend to play audio with no picture.     - PowerPoint 2003 Crashing I'm trying to add narration to a slide show with PowerPoint 2003. It is installed on a computer that is used for audio and video editing, so the machine is well tuned, up-to-date, and virus and spyware free. When I click on Record Narration and Set Microphone Level, PPT crashes with "Microsoft Office PowerPoint has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." Thinking that there may be a conflict with an audio driver or codec, I tried the same thing in a different computer, also well maintained and quite clean. The same error pops up. One computer is a true blue IBM. The other is a completely different motherboard. PPT seems to be working well in every other function I've tried. Both computers are Windows XP SP2 with all updates.     - Including Audio Files Today I sat through a PPT 2003 presentation during which there was narration from start to finish. When the narrator said, "Let's look at the next slide,", the next slide automagically appeared. I have read several web sites and the PPT help, but I am still not clear how this presentation was created. My question is, does PPT treat narration audio different from embedded or linked audio? The slides were not equally spaced. The audio of slide one was a minute. The audio of slide two was 30 seconds. The audio of slide three was two minutes. What I would like to do is to have a (wave) sound file play all through the presentation, and have the slides change at pre-selected points during the audio file, as above. I do not want to have to record the narration in real time. I know how to add an audio file to each slide, but that's not what I want to do. My problem is that I cannot seem to insert the sheet so that it can be manipulated during the presentation. The excel sheet is part of a large workbook. When using Powerpoint through the application, i can get content from a word docuemtn and paste it directly onto a slide in a presentation.     - Create a Print Button on Slide with VBA from Access Hi, I have some VBA in an Access 2003 database that produces a slide and displays data from a table in a presentation. It is working well. I have been asked if it is possible to put a print button on the last slide and when clicked, all the slides would be printed. I have the code below that puts a custom action button onto my last slide. I don't know how to get it to print when the button is clicked. I understand that "Print" refers to a macro that would be in the PowerPoint VBA but this VBA is running from Access, creating the presentation on the fly. Maybe a little more detail would help us answer? In general though select
the object to animate and choose custom animation ( in 2007 Animation Tab in
2002/3 it's in the Slide Show menu)

Select Add Effect and add the required effect
