I've read on CMS forums that MS is going to stop MCMS 2002 and the product
will be merged into new version of SharePoint. Is that true?
If yes can anybody tell me the expected release dates?
We are in the process of evaluating Web CMS products which strongly
integrate with SPS 2003 which is already in production.

Plese help

Thanks

Hi Parag,

Nothing is set in stone and these rumours are just rumours.

I suggest you contact your Technical Account Manager (TAM) or your Partner
Account Manager (PAM) and ask them to present the portals futures to you
under NDA.

If you need a hand getting in contact with someone from Microsoft please
drop me a line angus_logan@data3.com.au and I can help direct you to the
right person.

Also - which CMS forums did you see that 'MS is going to stop MCMS 2002' (i
wouldn't believe it)?

Regards

Thanks Angus
Yes I have forworded this to our TAM.

I'm not too sure but I read it on MS CMS - General Newsgroup and the reply
was surprisingly from MSFT team.

Hi Parag,

If you can find the actual posting can you shoot me the url?

Also, unless you see anything with a Microsoft logo on it (press pass, MS
blog, product site) I wouldn't believe the hype :)
