I've found in the docs the following:

"Some customizations are lost when you upgrade from an evaluation version of
SharePoint Portal Server 2003. These include modifications to template files
for areas and sites, as well as modifications to the cascading style sheets
(.css) files used for the portal site."

1. Does anyone know of a definitive list of modifications lost?

2. The instructions detail that you can backup the css files and overwrite
the upgraded versions - can the same be done with the templates? (Ours will
be heavily modified.)

Hello,

Normally everything under the webserver's:

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\web server
extensions\60\TEMPLATE

So if you back this up before migrating, you should be
OK...

That's what I know, other users, please feel free to add
if I left anything out

Kind regards and happy newyear,
